HBO announces that The Sopranos will have more episodes made in addition to the final season's 12.
Tony Soprano woke up this morning to discovered that the final season of The Sopranos would be extended by eight episodes. The acclaimed mobster drama was set to end after the 12 episodes of season six aired in 2006. Now, HBO has announced that eight more episodes will air beginning January 2007.
The wait between seasons of Sopranos is way too long. I feel like shows like The Wire, The Shield etc have passed it.
